Established in 2017, Estudio Dos Gardenias is an Interior Design Studio with a purist approach to materials and techniques. Initially based in the Dominican Republic, we strive to create spaces and pieces with a sense of permanence. Our practice is deeply conscious about what we bring to the world. We are curious about craftsmanship from other cultures and love things with historical value. Estudio dos Gardenias likes to celebrate mankind craft achievements and looks to integrate different disciplines into interiors.
Eileen is native of the Dominican Republic. After her degree in Interior Design, she studied Restoration of Monuments at the Universitat Politecnica of Catalunya in Barcelona, and Lighting Design at the Instituto Europeo di Design. She solidly believes in the intersection of historical values, craftsmanship and lighting as a complement for her Interior Design Projects. Before founding her firm, Eileen worked in projects in New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Paris and Seoul in the fields of Interiors and Lighting Design. At the moment, she splits her time between Santo Domingo and New Delhi where she explores materials and techniques.
